Position: Excavator Operator with Bucket and Thumb
Be part of our Burnaby facility as a Bucket & Thumb Operator, focusing on mobile shears. Work standard hours while contributing to safety and efficiency in heavy equipment operations.

We are looking for a dedicated operator with at least two years of experience in heavy equipment, particularly with excavators. In this role, you will utilize bucket and thumb attachments to meet customer needs while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Flexibility in shifts will be required, with potential work at Surrey or Abbotsford locations based on business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare materials with Labounty shears on excavators

• Move materials into bins, trailers, and railcars

• Identify hazards and maintain safety

• Carry out light maintenance on equipment

• Support workflow evaluations and improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of operational experience with heavy equipment

• Must have practical knowledge of bucket and thumb attachments

• Good mechanical skills and hand-eye coordination

• Strong communication and safety commitment

• Willingness to adapt to different shifts and travel occasionally
