Position: Burnaby HVAC Technician Opportunities
Step into a rewarding Full-Time HVAC Technician role with the Burnaby School District. Your expertise will be vital in servicing and maintaining heating and ventilation systems that ensure safety in educational facilities.

We seek a candidate with a British Columbia Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Certificate and a Gasfitter's Certificate (Class

B). Prior experience as a Journeyperson in HVAC, especially in boiler maintenance and DDC systems, is essential. A valid Class 5 Driver's License is also required to complete the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair heating and ventilation systems

• Inspect and calibrate electronic controls and thermostats

• Collaborate with staff regarding HVAC issues

• Use computerized applications for system management

• Adhere to safety standards in daily operations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma completion

• HVAC Certificate and Trades Qualification

• Journeyperson experience in relevant service areas

• Strong knowledge of current HVAC methods

• Ability to work independently and in teams
