Join the Garage team within the City of Burnaby for this skilled position. You will conduct mechanical overhauls on diverse equipment including backhoe-loaders and diesel engines. Candidates must have a Trade Certificate and at least several years of experience, alongside knowledge of safety practices and tools in the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overhaul and maintain various automotive and construction equipment

• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems

• Supervise assistants working on equipment repairs as needed

• Utilize standard tools for internal combustion engines

• Perform related maintenance duties as required

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and a recognized Trade Certificate

• Significant experience at the Journeyman level

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake Endorsement

• Red Seal Certification is an asset

• Ability to perform skilled mechanical tasks
