Location: new westminster
Transform your carpentry skills into a rewarding position with Jardeg in New Westminster, BC. As a Carpenter Journeyperson, you will manage complex projects and guide apprentices.
The ideal candidate should possess a Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket and experience in commercial builds and concrete formwork. Your responsibility includes ensuring safety compliance while completing carpentry tasks efficiently. This role follows a consistent day schedule with a 5 and 2 workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut, shape, and assemble building components
• Identify work deficiencies and implement fixes
• Construct temporary structures as needed
• Check work accuracy and adjust when necessary
• Mentor apprentice carpenters effectively
Requirements:
• Preference for candidates with a valid Ticket
• Proof of relevant carpentry experience for non-ticketed applicants
• Required certifications: CSTS & WHMIS
• Experience in commercial and buildings carpentry
• Must have own transportation to job sites
