Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking for a hands-on career in the construction industry? We're looking for a motivated Specialty Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll perform specialized testing of construction materials while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Every day brings new challenges, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working both independently and as part of a team.

What you need to have:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent writing and documentation abilities
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Good mechanical aptitude
The ability to perform well under pressure and manage changing priorities
Basic to intermediate math skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
A commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications
The following experience is considered an asset:
Knowledge of hydraulic systems
Previous experience with concrete technology
Experience with anchors and anchor systems
Physical & Travel Requirements
This is a physically active position that requires the ability to:
Lift and carry equipment and materials weighing at least 50 lbs
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
Safely handle testing equipment and construction materials
Travel to local and remote project sites as required
Participate in occasional overnight projects and travel away from home
Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
