• -Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• -Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• -Attach components and adjust new farm equipment
• -Perform repair work on heavy trucks
• -Perform other routine maintenance
• -Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports

• -Engine repair and overhaul

• -Engine control system

• -Mechanical transmissions
• -Hydraulic transmissions
• -Power take-offs
• -Tracked vehicle suspensions and steering
• -Brake system

• -Valid driver's licence
