Structured Cabling Technician

This hands-on technician role requires at least 5 years of experience in structured cabling. You will work directly under the Division Manager and must be skilled in Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic installations. A focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards is essential in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain structured cabling systems efficiently

• Terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and multimode fiber optic cabling

• Use testing equipment like Fluke DSX-5000 for integrity checks

• Mentor junior staff and conduct safety talks on-site

• Complete as-builts and label cables according to standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in structured cabling

• High school diploma is required

• Class 5 driver’s license in good standing

• Background check required prior to hiring

• Certification in relevant areas is a plus
