Trans Mountain is searching for an Instrumentation Technician to join our dedicated team focused on pipeline integrity and safety. This position emphasizes technical expertise in instrumentation calibration, troubleshooting, and design documentation. You will work closely with Operations and Maintenance, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety standards while enhancing overall system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain various instrumentation equipment
• Update and manage electrical schematics for accuracy
• Support the programming of PLCs and HMI systems
• Perform thorough documentation of maintenance activities
• Participate in emergency response and operational activities
Requirements:
• Completion of high school and Journeyman Instrumentation Technician certification
• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of process control systems is an asset
• Strong organizational skills in managing tasks
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license
