Become an Instrumentation Technician with Trans Mountain in Burnaby, British Columbia, applying your technical skills to ensure safe and reliable pipeline operations. This full-time role emphasizes instrumentation support and emergency response capabilities.
You will be instrumental in supporting our critical infrastructure by performing calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems. Working closely with the operations and maintenance teams, your contributions will uphold the safety and integrity standards essential to our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and communication networks
• Update and maintain as-built documentation
• Analyze and interpret information from SCADA systems
• Participate in emergency response training and support activities
• Provide contractor oversight as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma required
• Industrial experience of 3-5 years
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on personal safety and collaborative teamwork
