MET Technician Required

Full Time / permanent
Basic salary £16 - £21 per hour. (Dependant on experience)
45 hour contracts available
Monday – Friday
NO Weekends

Key Responsibilities of an MET Technician :

Must have experience in stripping and refitting a variety of makes and models of vehicle
Carry out diagnostic checks on vehicles.
Geometry Wheel Alignment.
Suspension and mechanical duties.
Stripping and Fitting Vehicles before and after paint.
Stripping and Fitting bumpers and doors.
Repairing interior Plastics and Seats.
Repairing Exterior Plastics.
Repairing and replacing steering racks
Repairing Windscreens - desirable but not essential
Repairing, stripping and fitting dashboards.
Dealing with wiring throughout the car.
Installing and Calibrating ADAS equipment - desirable but not essential

Requirements of an MET Technician

ATA / NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualified MET Technician or time severed within an MET Technician role.
Full valid driving licence
Previous experience of working within an accident repair centre or with commercial vehicles is essential.
