Finishing Foreman

Position: Finishing Foreman (Permanent)
Abatec are proud to represent a leading modular construction manufacturer based in Highbridge. We are seeking a Finishing Foreman to support installations and complete minor snagging and defects on sites across the UK.

This is a hands-on, working supervisor position, ideal for someone with a background in plumbing, electrical work, or general building maintenance. You will either supervise a small team or lone work, with regular overnight stays required.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete snagging and defect works within bathroom pods, including:

* Replacing tiles, grouting, painting, silicone finishing and GRP repairs

* Installing pipework, sanitaryware, brassware, mirrors, cabinets, and lighting

* Conduct pressure testing, drainage testing, fault finding and troubleshooting

* Use snagging software on tablets to record work completed

* Close out paperwork accurately and efficiently

* Communicate clearly with site managers and project teams

* Carry out customer care works in occupied rooms/apartments

Essential Skills & Requirements

* Current, clean and valid UK driving licence

* CSCS card (skills specific), ideally with NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent trade qualification

* Proficient with hand and power tools

* Confident using software packages including Fieldview and MS Excel on tablets/laptops

* High attention to detail and the ability to deliver work to a high standard

* Self-motivated, organised and able to meet deadlines

Qualifications

* CITB SSSTS or SMSTS qualification

* GCSE level education or equivalent

* NVQ Level 2/3 and/or trade qualification
