Regional Fitter

About the role

Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires equipment including diggers, dumpers and small hand tools for companies in the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. As a Regional Plant Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in the region by supporting depots to ensure customers can hire what they need, when they need it. Your responsibilities include traveling across regional depots and customer sites, identifying and repairing faults or damage to equipment, and accurately updating service records.

This role requires extensive travel and overnight stays when necessary.

• Proven experience as a plant mechanic/fitter with a relevant mechanical qualification or service record
• Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, able to work effectively under pressure
• A customer-focused approach, workload management and a committed team player
• A valid driving licence is essential
