Temporary Painter & Decorator - University Accommodation & Campus Maintenance (Summer Contract)

Temporary Painter & Decorator Required
We are looking for reliable and experienced Painter & Decorators to join our team for a busy summer maintenance programme across university accommodation and campus buildings throughout the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled decorators who take pride in delivering high-quality work within occupied and vacant student accommodation, academic buildings and communal areas.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works.
Prepare surfaces, including filling, sanding and making minor repairs.
Paint student bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, stairwells and communal areas.
Complete planned and reactive decorating works within university accommodation and campus buildings.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within programme deadlines.
Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Report any defects or maintenance issues identified during works to the Site Supervisor.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
Valid CSCS Card (essential).
IPAF
Own vehicle with the ability to travel to sites across the North West.
Own decorating tools suitable for carrying out all aspects of painting and decorating work.
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and professional.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
Experience working within student accommodation, hotels, healthcare, commercial properties or residential refurbishments.
Experience working on planned summer maintenance programmes.
Full UK driving licence.
