As a Center Director at New Creations Child Care & Learning Center, you’ll lead a dedicated team of early childhood professionals to deliver high-quality, faith-based education that supports each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. You’ll be the driving force behind enrollment success, staff development, and regulatory excellence—empowered to make a lasting impact on children, families, and your community.
Key ResponsibilitiesCenter Operations: Oversee daily operations, budgets, and compliance with DCYF licensing and Parent Aware standards.
Staff Leadership: Onboard and coach a team of educators while fostering a positive, professional culture.
Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with families through communication, events, and proactive support.
Program Excellence: Collaborate with leadership to meet organizational goals, grow enrollment, and maintain high-quality programming.

Education and Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old and Associate’s Degree in a related field is required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Must be Teacher qualified under DCYF Rule 3 Standards. Official transcripts of all post‑secondary work required.
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Lead Teacher or two to three years of leadership experience in another career field preferred.
- State DHS background check and fingerprints shall determine that the applicant has not been “convicted of a felony… has no criminal record that the commissioner reasonably believes renders the person unsuitable to be employed in a child care center.”
- Certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR completed within 30 days of employment.
- Must complete all required DCYF Orientation Training on first day of employment.
With or without reasonable accommodation this position requires:
- Ability to travel on an ongoing basis.
- Extensive standing and walking; sitting on the floor and on low (12”) chairs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Lifting and carrying children extensively in the infant/toddler program; less frequently in the preschool program, but the children are heavier.
- Frequent moving of equipment (cots, tables, etc.).
- Pushing children in buggies, strollers, and walking for considerable periods.
- The necessity of being outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to unpleasant odors and fluids caused by vomit (occasional) and bodily elimination.
- Relatively frequent exposure to loud noises (baby crying, toys falling and other common occurrences of children at play).
