Step into an influential role as a School Psychologist and support students during a key period of their educational journey. This contract assignment offers meaningful work providing coverage while a valued colleague is on leave, helping ensure that students and staff continue to receive essential psychological services.

Set in a welcoming and collaborative school environment, you'll have the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and youth over the course of nearly three months. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll become a steadfast resource in the school community.

  • Active state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Relevant education credentials mandated for school-based psychologists
  • Experience supporting school-age children within educational settings
  • Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to conduct effective student assessments and develop supportive plans
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
  • Flexibility and adaptability for managing diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological services including assessment, counseling, and consultation
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Support special education teams in the evaluation process
  • Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal guidelines
  • Serve as an approachable resource for staff and families during the leave coverage period
