Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ academic and behavioral growth at the secondary and elementary levels. This contract opportunity is tailored for professionals skilled in both special education teaching and behavior intervention, offering a split assignment: mornings as a high school Special Education Teacher, and afternoons consulting as a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) at the elementary level. This dynamic, full-time, school-year position provides a chance to collaborate with caring teams in a supportive educational environment near Maple Grove, MN.

• Minnesota Teaching License required; candidates must hold a Tier 3 or Tier 4 license in Special Education
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or Behavior Specialist within school settings
• Expertise in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers on positive behavioral supports and strategies
• Ability to adapt to changing needs across multiple grade levels and settings

• Teach and support high school students in the mornings as part of an engaged teaching crew
• Serve as a Behavior Intervention Specialist in the afternoon, consulting with elementary staff to enhance classroom management and foster supportive learning environments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
• Provide guidance and professional development on behavior management to fellow educators
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure programs align with district and state requirements
