We are looking to add an Aviation Engineer who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!
- Lead and manage the design and construction management for airport projects including extension and reconstruction of runways, taxiways and aprons; fuel systems; vertical infrastructure including hangars and AD buildings; NAVAIDS; etc.
- Manage budgets and schedules for assigned airport projects and assist with marketing of future clients.
- Serve as a client contact to airport boards and clients as assigned.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee the performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel in both design and construction.
- Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
- Perform business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.).
- Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
- Assist with the training and development of professional and technical staff.
- Develop relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Travel periodically to work sites and other project-related locations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer, with the ability to obtain Minnesota licensure within 6 months of hire.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with airport infrastructure.
- Experience with client relationship management and business development.
- Professional Engineer license required.
Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.
