Senior Project Engineer – Sensors Testing Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical project execution by managing scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and risk to ensure successful delivery. You will use performance metrics and Earned Value methods to drive continuous improvement, provide status updates to leadership, and develop engineering estimates and proposals to support new projects and organizational alignment.

What You Will Do
  • Lead project technical execution and maintain performance metrics for decision making and continuous improvement purposes.
  • Manage project scope (requirements and change requests) ensuring it meets agreed commitments.
  • Generate and maintain project schedules with understood dependencies, deliveries, and critical path.
  • Utilize Earned Value (EV) methods for managing project budget (and schedule).
  • Ensure project meets quality expectations.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and resolve them through proactive ownership.
  • Prepare well‑crafted presentations reporting project status to leadership teams.
  • Develop engineering estimates and proposals for potential projects and gaining organizational buy‑in.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of project management experience, including baseline control, earned value, and risk management.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Mastery of Agile process and principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Problem‑solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience using analytical and problem‑solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels.
