Manufacturing Engineer – New Product Introduction (NPI) Team
We are seeking a skilled and eager Manufacturing Engineer to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team. This role focuses on supporting design for manufacturing efforts, encompassing process development, work instruction creation, lean manufacturing, and tooling development.
What You Will Do- Lead the introduction of new products from prototype design to full-scale production for small-scope programs.
- Design assembly tooling and fixtures using CAD software.
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive work instructions and process documentation.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct process flow and capacity analyses to ensure optimal production rates.
- Collaborate with design engineering to refine product designs for manufacturability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to design, process, and supplier quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO or other).
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Experience with electrical engineering principles.
- Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and AS9145 methodologies.
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with root cause corrective actions and problem-solving.
- Experience working in a team environment.

Salaryand Compensation
Salary Range: $68,900 - $131,100 USD. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Location DetailPosition is U.S.
