- Lead complex, multi‑discipline projects in the engines and MEMS sensors design department.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers across hardware, software, and test disciplines.
- Represent the organization as a prime customer contact and deliver presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including design, operations, quality, program management, and business development.
- Develop and manage system engineering activities from requirements definition through detailed design, implementation, and verification.
- Conduct architecture trade studies, modeling, analysis, and simulation; perform failure mode and effects analysis and safety analysis.
- Perform statistical and qualitative data analyses and support system‑level functional, performance, and robustness testing.
- Ensure compliance with SAE ARP
4754 and other applicable guidelines for aircraft system development. - Manage configuration processes, functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition.
- Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, preparing verification criteria and plans.
- Typical requirement: a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated technical and leadership responsibility on electronic development and integration programs.
- Experience preparing and presenting stage‑gate design reviews to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate teamwork across functions.
- Hands‑on experience managing hardware and software development configurations throughout the engineering process.
- Experience establishing design work scope, objectives, and criteria for product development and integration.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Experience with SAE ARP
4754, RTCA/DO‑178, RTCA/DO‑254, and RTCA/DO‑160 aerospace certification frameworks. - Proficiency in DOORS, Polarion ALM, and MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
- Background in engine technologies, aircraft systems, data management, embedded hardware/software, Agile development processes, or cybersecurity.
- 10+ years of experience reviewing product specifications, performing estimates of effort and duration for tasks, and managing requirements convergence planning.

Salary Range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD (good faith estimate based on experience, location, and role). Additional incentive compensation may be offered per business unit policies.
