Bolton & Menk Project Engineer, PE – Water Resources
Bolton & Menk is seeking a licensed Project Engineer, PE to join our Water Resources team in one of the Twin Cities offices. The role focuses on ag drainage stormwater modeling and design, supporting water resources and ag drainage projects during design and construction phases.
Responsibilities- Perform detailed design computations.
- Perform preliminary layout, modeling and design.
- Research and prepare rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
- Assist with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take‑off estimates.
- Assist with plan reviews, stormwater pollution prevention plans, design of stormwater facilities, stormwater detention and retention design, water quality design, and stormwater management planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
- Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS.
$68,000 – $120,000, depending on experience and credentials.
