Role Information
- Location:

- Security Clearance:
None required - Salary Range: USD 132,400 – 251,600
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and support recruitment, retention, and career development of team members.
- Guide mechanical and aeronautical design from concept and trade studies through detailed design, production transition, and supplier support.
- Develop and integrate mechanical hardware, applying materials selection, manufacturing processes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis to ensure quality and reliability.
- Support project execution, including proposal development (BOEs), EVMS/EAC tracking, and risk & opportunity management.
- Conduct root-cause and corrective‑action analysis and present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
- Provide factory and supplier support for product integration domestically and internationally.
- Prepare management reports and clear, concise technical and programmatic presentations to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead cross‑functional design and development efforts within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that include Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management.
- Required:
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience. - Preferred:
Adaptability to changing assignments and resources; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to evaluate and report overall engineering performance; data‑driven decision making; experience in production support and additive manufacturing; strong coaching and mentoring capabilities; ability to leverage global engineering resources to meet cost and schedule objectives.
