Senior Technician (T3) – Test Engineering
Join a global engineering organization dedicated to the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing test solutions for the Avionics strategic business unit. As a Senior Technician, you will work onsite in Burnsville, Minnesota, collaborating with a team of experienced engineers and technicians to support production for both commercial and military sensor products.
Responsibilities- Build test hardware, including cables, boxes, and racks, according to engineering drawings.
- Create and review test system designs and documentation with engineering to meet customer requirements.
- Update documentation such as drawings, schematics, and bills of materials, or provide markups for new and existing test hardware.
- Troubleshoot issues reported by operations and provide necessary repairs to solutions, such as cables, boxes, and racks, in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, effectively communicating with engineers, operators, and technicians.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in building cables and wire harnesses.
- Proficiency in soldering and reading electrical schematics.
- Experience in building complex cable assemblies and test boxes.
- Knowledge of Minnesota State Electrical codes and statutes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with tooling, soldering, and crimping standards.
- Strong communication and mentorship skills.
- Ability to read engineering schematics and wire lists.
Work onsite in a test lab environment. Collaborate with a team in a dynamic and agile setting, engaging in hands-on work with test solutions at various stages of their life cycle.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Burnsville, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
