Trystar’s team members are our most important asset. We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer I. In this role, you will lead the design and integration of electromechanical subsystems and contribute significantly to system-level engineering of advanced electrical power solutions. You will take ownership of key portions of system architecture, requirements development, and technical execution across the product lifecycle—from concept through validation and production.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements, while working to resolve system integration challenges and ensure alignment across engineering disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly capable engineer to expand their ownership, lead key technical efforts, and contribute meaningful impact across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Lead system design and validation for significant subsystems or product areas.
• Own key portions of system architecture, requirements definition, and traceability.
• Influence trade studies and key design decisions.
• Drive system integration, testing, and validation, including troubleshooting of complex issues.
• Engage stakeholders early to expose sourcing, certification, compliance, and manufacturing constraints before they reach the critical path.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and functions, and reinforce Trystar’s systems-engineering standards.
• Mentor early-career engineers.
• Contribute to project planning and effort estimates, and support project stage-gate and release-readiness reviews.
• Convert learning into reusable design rules, workflows, and platform building blocks.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field; a master’s is a plus.
• 3–7 years of experience in electromechanical systems, with a focus on electrical power systems.
• Familiarity with systems-engineering methods (architecture, requirements, integration).
