Police Officer - Patrol

This position will be:

• Providing rescue help and emergency first aid treatment.
• Answering questions, providing directions and prompt assistance to the community.
• Deter and detect unlawful activities by effective police work.
• Gather evidence, question victims, suspects and witnesses, and follow up on related leads.
• Responding to calls for assistance, investigating complaints, and maintaining order in disputes.
• Directing traffic, reporting hazardous conditions, and enforcing ordinances.
• This role works rotating shifts

Bachelor’s degree by the date of hire, Minnesota Peace Officer License eligible by hire date and valid Minnesota Class D Driver’s License. Local government experience preferred.
