Position: Behavioral Specialist in School Setting | Burnsville, Minnesota

A Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is sought for a K-12 school assignment in Burnsville, MN. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, with a full 37.5‑hour workweek on‑site only.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide behavior analysis consultation and support to multiple classrooms across the district.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans grounded in the principles of applied behavior analysis.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive student outcomes.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress and guide decision‑making.
  • Participate in meetings focused on reducing disciplinary disparities for students of color.
  • Assist in training staff on behavior management strategies aligned with inclusive practices.
Qualifications
  • Current valid BCBA national certification is required.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably K‑12.
  • Strong understanding of culturally responsive behavioral interventions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and data analysis skills.
  • Commitment to equity and student‑centered service delivery.

Location:

Burnsville, MN on‑site only, itinerant within various classrooms and settings.
