Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Burnsville, MN

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Burnsville, MN, serving a very high needs student population within an IV Special School setting. This contract runs from March 16 to June 5 and offers both part-time and full-time positions. The caseload is small, allowing for focused and impactful therapy sessions. There are no due process responsibilities involved only the provision of service minutes.

• Provide speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
• Document and track therapy minutes to ensure compliance with service requirements.
• Adapt therapy methods to accommodate a very high needs student population.
• Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) as appropriate.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC).
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience working within pediatric and school settings, ideally K-12.
• Knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment and intervention for diverse school-aged populations.
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
