Salary Range: $16.48 To $18.00 Hourly
SIGN-ON BONUS
New full-time hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid in installments:
- 30 days: $150
- 60 days: $350
- 90 days: $1,000
New part-time hires working 30 hours or less are eligible for a prorated bonus based on scheduled hours. Associates must be in good standing at each payout date to receive payment. The bonus is available to new full-time and part-time hires only; seasonal hires are not eligible.
Position Overview:
At the heart of every unforgettable stay is a clean, comfortable, and welcoming room. Grand View Lodge is looking for reliable, detail-oriented associates to join our Housekeeping team as Room Attendants / Preppers.
Room Attendants and Preppers work together to get guest rooms and cabins ready for each arrival. This position may include both room cleaning and prepper responsibilities, with assignments based on daily operational needs. You may prepare recently vacated units, transport and stock linens, make beds, or complete room cleaning and finishing touches. Throughout your shift, you’ll communicate with teammates to keep work moving smoothly and deliver the thoughtful care our guests expect.
No previous housekeeping experience is required—we provide training!

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Room Attendants, Preppers, and supervisors to prepare guest rooms and cabins for arrival.
- Prepare recently vacated units by removing used linens and trash and organizing the space for cleaning.
- Transport linens to designated laundry locations and move and fill linen bags as needed.
- Make guest beds neatly and consistently to Grand View Lodge standards.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms; dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop assigned spaces.
- Replenish guest amenities, linens, and housekeeping supplies.
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts, linen trailers, and golf carts used by the team.
- Check your work for cleanliness, presentation, and readiness before communicating completion.
- Report maintenance needs, damage, safety concerns, and low inventory promptly.
- Follow resort procedures for cleaning products, equipment, guest privacy, and lost-and-found items.
- Communicate progress and priorities with teammates and supervisors, helping where needed to meet arrival schedules.
- Maintain flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal periods based on scheduling needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
- A dependable, positive attitude and pride in creating welcoming spaces for guests.
- A willingness to learn and perform both room attendant and prepper responsibilities.
- Attention to detail and comfort performing repetitive tasks consistently.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
- The ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a team.
- The ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds, depending on the accommodation type and operational needs, using safe lifting practices.
- Comfort standing, walking, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs, and reaching throughout your shift.
- The ability to read basic chemical labels and write simple reports or assessments.
- Previous hotel, cabin, or residential cleaning experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for assignments involving company vehicles.
