The Product Value Stream Leader (VSL) is the product manager accountable for the full lifecycle of products in the Integrated Air Data Systems (IADS) product portfolio. This includes pursuit and capture, design and development, on-time delivery, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans. The VSL drives strategic planning efforts, is the lead function accountable for the business success, and serves as the face of the organization to multiple clients and customers.
They are responsible for the successful execution of programs to meet strategic goals and maintains associated measures of success. This leadership position reports directly to Integrated Air Data Systems Associate Director and is an active participant of the leadership team.
Lead several cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) that regularly manage new products/services with new market capabilities and offerings. Manage the IPT to drive supply chain resilience and achieve output and delivery assurance targets. Implement functional strategy and establish operational plans for the work area. Manage large risks with meaningful financial and schedule impacts and strategic implications for the enterprise. Maximize customer satisfaction given your large influence on product and project execution.
Influence and negotiate elements of key business opportunities.

Develop a deep appreciation for the full product lifecycle and gain exposure to all the functional areas involved (R&D, design, manufacturing, quality, operations, field support). You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum 10 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Demonstrated ability to lead large development teams with diverse skill sets and interdependencies between functional groups. The ability to distill complex ideas into simple elements and to communicate them both up and down the management chain.
