Director of Family Services
Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center (MIWRC) | Minneapolis, MN | Full-Time
MIWRC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and collaborative leader to serve as our
Director of Family Services
. This leadership role oversees MIWRC’s family programming, including the
ICWA Collaborative, Life Skills Parenting Program, and Family Spirit Home Visiting Program
, while providing supervision, coaching, and support to Family Services staff.
The Director works closely with executive leadership to strengthen services for Native women, children, and families through trauma-informed, family-centered, and culturally responsive programming. Responsibilities include staff supervision, program development, budget oversight, grant compliance, community partnerships, case consultation, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related human services field required;
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field preferred. - Experience supervising staff and developing family or human services programs
- Experience working with Native American communities
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and crisis management skills
- Valid driver's license
