Overview

The Manufacturing Supervisor – Engines Value Stream will support manufacturing operations by ensuring quality, productivity, scheduling, material coordination, and process improvements within a production cell.

What You Will Do
  • Ensure all quality‑related items for a cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.
  • Assist in cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
  • Assist in scheduling for a cell so that production schedules are met.
  • Assist in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for a cell to optimize productivity.
  • Coordinate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution of a cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
  • Monitor cell performance and productivity of a cell to maximize productivity.
  • Assist in production innovation, including additive manufacturing, of a cell to enhance the cell’s production capabilities.
  • Interface with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory service standards.
  • Responsible for all or a major portion of processing operations in a plant.
  • Oversee production operations, maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel.
  • Manage and supervise the work of manufacturing production disciplines.
  • Perform professional or management work regularly across multiple manufacturing disciplines.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • University degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a technical or operational environment.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Prior supervisory experience of a 10+ team size in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of productivity, manufacturing metrics and corrective action.
  • Continuous improvement (e.g., ACE, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with ERP/SAP preferred.
  • Experience in a mixed‑model production environment.
  • Cross‑functional leadership experience.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
