Job Summary

Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer's specifications. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.

• Completes work area setup
• Fits parts together according to prescribed instructions and quality standards
• Operates hand tools as needed to complete the assembly process
• Stacks completed products according to established procedures; if required, may cover, label, band components
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
• Maintains production records as required
• Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
• No minimum experience is required; however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

$18.00–$19.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living.

• For sales positions:
  The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.
• For salaried bonus positions:
  Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
• For hourly positions with incentive pay:
  Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, employee referral bonuses, and a discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance.
