Bottling and Production Lead
We're hiring a Bottling and Production Lead to oversee daily bottling, packaging, warehouse, and production operations for a growing Minnesota spirits company. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone with experience in beverage manufacturing, brewery, winery, distillery, food production, or manufacturing operations who enjoys leading production while working alongside the team.
Job Duties:
- Operate and oversee bottling, filling, capping, labeling, and packaging equipment.
- Prepare bottles, labels, closures, and packaging materials for production runs.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production and bottling process.
- Maintain accurate batch records, production documentation, and inventory records.
- Troubleshoot minor production equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Manage finished goods and packaging material inventory.
- Receive, organize, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload deliveries using material handling equipment, including forklifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and regulatory-compliant production environment.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Assist with production scheduling to meet customer demand and shipping deadlines.
- Support warehouse operations during non-production periods.
Requirements &
Experience:
- Previous experience in bottling, beverage manufacturing, brewery, winery, distillery, food manufacturing, or production operations preferred.
- Experience operating filling, labeling, bottling, or packaging equipment.
- Forklift experience required or the ability to become certified.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
- Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, or shipping and receiving is a plus.
- Familiarity with batch records, quality control, and production scheduling preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
