Machinist II - 3rd Shift

Position Overview

Production Machining – Collins Aerospace – Onsite U.S. Person.

Location:

Burnsville, MN. Salary range: $38,841 – $72,849.

Friday – Sunday, 6:00am to 6:30pm. Training required during first shift (Monday–Friday 6:30am – 3pm) for the first 2–3 months.

• Capable of set‑ups, inspections, blueprint reading and production processes.
• Set up machines to perform operations within its capability by positioning, aligning, securing work, utilising appropriate tools and adapting them.
• Demonstrate analytical skills necessary for machine adjustments and performing the machining process.
• Demonstrate proper use of inspection equipment including indicators, micrometers, calipers, and surface plates.
• Inspect and certify own work.
• Work independently with minimal support for problem solving.
• Perform upkeep of production equipment.
• Perform daily, quarterly, annual preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Typically a high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee/asylee status).

• Machinist technical school certificate/diploma.
• 2+ years of CNC mill/lathe experience.
• Experience with Mazak Mazatrol.
• Production manufacturing experience.
