Manufacturing Engineer
Collins Aerospace is seeking a manufacturing engineer who can creatively apply engineering knowledge to efficiently solve complex manufacturing problems and make sound and rationale data oriented technical conclusions for the manufacture of electrical/mechanical pressure sensing devices. This position will require interfacing with other manufacturing engineers, production leaders, maintenance, purchasing, quality, production operators, design engineers and program management. The challenges and opportunities are unlimited for this position.
This is an onsite role that will put you right where the action is!
What You Will Do:
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Communicates and collaborates with manufacturing engineers, production leaders, maintenance, purchasing, quality, production operators, design engineers and program management.
- Ability to carry out process optimization
- Ability to design and analyze experiments
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite software
- Understand Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Experience in the Aviation industry
- SAP Proficiency
