Role
Pilot Plant Technician responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining pilot plant equipment, primarily extruders, with additional support for injection molding and converting lines.
Objectivessupport experimental and production runs, develop manufacturing technologies, ensure quality and safety standards.
Responsibilitiesequipment setup, process troubleshooting, performing tests, quality control, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, pilot plant, or laboratory environments, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and flexibility for night shift (10pm-6am).
Preferredtechnical diploma or associate's degree, experience with injection molding, web handling, extrusion, and working overtime/weekends.
High-Valueexperience in pilot plant operations, process support, quality testing, with a focus on manufacturing processes in a chemical or materials context.
LocationSt. Paul, MN, with up to 5% domestic travel.
Work setupnight shift, flexible hours for training and coverage.
