Job Overview

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center– TCU (Burnsville, MN) is offering a paid Nurse Internship May 18-19 (virtual new employee) and May 26 - Aug 7, 2026 (in person) for those graduating with an ADN, BSN, or entry-level master’s RN degree between Dec 2026 - Sep 2027. The internship includes 64 hours over two weeks, mainly day shifts 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., with early shifts and one weekend required.

No holidays.

Nurse Intern Responsibilities
  • Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
  • Develops an individualized nursing plan of care.
  • Manages medications and performs treatments.
  • Implements nursing interventions based on the plan of care.
  • Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes.
  • Uses effective education and communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Admissions and discharges.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong desire to become an RN with Ebenezer (any location) upon graduation.
  • Currently enrolled in an ADN, BSN, or entry-level master’s RN program and graduating between Dec 2026 - Sep 2027.
  • Enrolled, complete, and pass a summer 2026 internship course at a Minnesota-based school of nursing.
  • Complete one nursing clinical rotation by start date of nurse internship.
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) upon hire.
  • Able to work with a diverse population of patients and coworkers including subacute/geriatric settings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Work experience in healthcare/senior care setting.
