Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) | 7 On / 7 Off

Compensation: $54.09-$78.13/hour for active visit time + $5.10-$12.00/hour beeper pay

One call may require coaching a caregiver through an unexpected symptom.

The next may mean driving to a patient's home to determine what's changed, relieve pain, adjust a plan of care, and help a family regain confidence.

• Respond to after-hours hospice calls across the Twin Cities Metro.
• Assess urgent changes in patient condition and provide expert symptom management.
• Complete emergency hospice visits and implement comfort-focused nursing interventions.
• Educate and reassure patients, families, and caregivers during difficult moments.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Hospice experience preferred; experienced nurses from ER, ICU, oncology, home health, and palliative care are encouraged to apply.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Confidence working independently in unpredictable situations.
• Compassionate communication and a calm, reassuring presence.
