Compensation: $54.09-$78.13/hour for active visit time + $5.10-$12.00/hour beeper pay
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off | Evening & Overnight On-Call

One call may require coaching a caregiver through an unexpected symptom.
The next may mean driving to a patient's home to determine what's changed, relieve pain, adjust a plan of care, and help a family regain confidence.

- Respond to after-hours hospice calls across the Twin Cities Metro.
- Assess urgent changes in patient condition and provide expert symptom management.
- Complete emergency hospice visits and implement comfort-focused nursing interventions.
- Educate and reassure patients, families, and caregivers during difficult moments.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Hospice experience preferred; experienced nurses from ER, ICU, oncology, home health, and palliative care are encouraged to apply.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Confidence working independently in unpredictable situations.
- Compassionate communication and a calm, reassuring presence.
