Job Description
Bring your expertise and passion for student health to a vibrant school environment as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a supportive elementary school setting. This contract opportunity enables you to provide high-quality health care and support to students from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Based near Stillwater, MN, your role is essential in ensuring the well-being and safety of the school community each day.
Qualifications& Desired
Experience:
- Active Minnesota LPN license required
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Current CPR certification
- Oversee daily operations of the health office, delivering direct care to students with acute or chronic health needs
- Administer medications, perform routine health procedures, and respond to medical emergencies per established protocols
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Collaborate with teaching staff, administration, and families to ensure continuity of student care
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and healthy school environment
- Scheduled hours: 9:00am–3:45pm (Monday – Friday), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- 6.25 hours per day serving the elementary school population

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.65 to $46.65. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
