Qualifications:

• Valid, active Minnesota LPN license (required; candidates without a current license cannot be considered)
• Current resume reflecting relevant nursing experience
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to health emergencies or urgent student needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following district health protocols

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and support for chronic health conditions
• Work collaboratively with school personnel to promote a healthy, safe learning environment
• Maintain accurate health records and follow all district documentation policies
• Monitor and manage the daily needs of students with specific healthcare considerations
• Serve as a resource for health-related questions, supporting families and staff as needed
• Uphold best practices while adapting to new situations as they arise within a school health office
