Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Quality Inspector in Burnsville, Minnesota. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour
  • Schedule:

    First Shift Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Requirements
  • Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma required
  • Previous experience in a food‑grade facility
  • Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, and related regulatory requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Verify and monitor finished packaging codes against specifications
  • Inspect product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., before packaging in accordance with specifications
  • Perform timely checks to meet specifications
  • Provide supervisors and managers with proper quality documentation as required
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with an emphasis on safety
  • Ensure product quality meets customer, state, and federal guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as required or assigned
