Job Summary

The Seasonal Team Member supports store operations during peak business periods by assisting with merchandising, freight, front‑end operations, and customer service across multiple areas of the store. This role ensures a clean, organized, and well‑stocked environment while delivering a customer‑focused shopping experience.

Seasonal Team Member

Pay: $12.86 - $16.07/hr

Note: This is a seasonal/temporary position intended to provide additional staffing support during peak business periods. Employment is temporary and does not guarantee ongoing employment. Seasonal Team Members are invited to apply for regular part‑time or full‑time positions when eligible.

Essential Functions
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and sense of urgency, executing assigned responsibilities in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Provides exceptional customer service while contributing to a customer‑focused environment.
  • Collaborates with Team Members and leadership to achieve store goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Performs cashier and front‑end duties, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Processes freight; sorts, stocks, and replenishes merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
  • Performs store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks both inside and outside the building.
  • Completely assigned tasks within established time frames.
  • Supports customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, safety, and loss prevention initiatives to maintain effective and profitable operations.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
  • Strong verbal, written, and comprehension skills, communicating clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to established standards and processes.
  • Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and ethical behavior in all interactions.
  • Adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Stand and walk for extended periods; frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. independently; participate in team lifts up to 100 lbs.
  • Climb ladders and work at varying heights as needed.
  • Work in a retail environment that includes varying temperatures across sales floor, stockroom, and receiving areas.
  • Safely operate standard retail equipment, including pallet jacks, rolling carts, and balers.
  • Perform repetitive motions such as lifting, pushing, and pulling.
