** Job Summary
** The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the sale of Company products and services through developing and maintaining customer contacts within an assigned territory or area of responsibility. Works under the general direction of the Regional Sales Manager, exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis and a significant degree of creativity is expected.

** Principle Duties and Responsibilities
*** Costs, prices, and negotiates products for customers to ensure competitive and profitable pricing structures.
* Develops purchase orders and secures prompt payment from customers, assisting with accounts receivable management as needed.
* Reads and understands the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement to make informed financial decisions.
* Prepares annual reports as required, summarizing financial performance and strategies.
* Develops new markets and market penetration strategies to expand the company's reach and influence.
* Understands market dynamics, competition, and driving forces that influence the wood manufacturing industry.
* Offers tools to customers in creative ways to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
* Prepares for and gives new product introductions to customers, ensuring they are well-informed about the latest offerings.
* Maintains strong relationships and loyalty with existing customers, while developing new customers through cold calling and other sales development activities.
* Solicits orders from both established and new customers, ensuring a steady pipeline of sales opportunities.
* Mentors sales trainees and account managers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their sales targets and professional growth.
* Follows up on production and delivery to ensure customer orders are filled in a timely manner.
* Takes ownership of inventory within the segment, ensuring optimal stock levels and availability.
* Assists in plant strategy by helping with procuring raw materials, ensuring a steady supply chain.
* Ensures sales contracts undergo proper legal review.
* Maintains general knowledge of consignment and similar legal agreements to protect the company's interests.
* Maintains information and records regarding customer purchases, inventories, marketing trends, and preferences to inform future strategies.
* Resolves customer problems or facilitates resolutions with other departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Creates a business plan and develops their book of business to drive long-term growth and sustainability.
* Performs other duties as required
** Qualifications
* ** Preferred bachelor degree in related field
* Minimum of three years of sales experience, preferable within the Universal family of companies
* Two consecutive years of attainment of sales quotas and margins
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
* Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
* Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines### Salary Pay Range: $75, annually dependent on experience pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living Bonus/Incentive Pay The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on the customer account classification and is calculated based on collected gross profit.
