DEPARTMENT:
Sales and Marketing
Manage and support assigned manufacturer’s representatives.
Develop key business relationships with consultants, architects and engineers through joint sales presentations in the field with assigned manufacturer representatives to generate and close new sales opportunities.
Manage all aspects of the sales process from lead generation to the development of sales proposals and system designs.
- Meet established sales objectives in assigned territory.
- Manage and support manufacturer’s representatives in the assigned territory including the selection of new reps as needed.
- Provide direction, ongoing support and training to representatives in the assigned territory.
- Regular travel within territory for joint sales presentations with reps and for direct sales efforts in areas without representation.
- Attend and staff booth at selected trade shows and conferences.
- Prepare system designs and proposals for architects, contractors, engineers and end users in the assigned territories and accounts.
- Assist in preparation and distribution of marketing materials as needed to communicate the features and benefits of the Lynx Broadband product line.
- Provide technical support, system design and respond to all inquiries via phone and e-mail from your assigned territory
- Manage and track all activities, opportunities and quotes in the company CRM system
- Work with customers, engineering and the quality department to help resolve field issues in a timely manner.
- Understand and abide by all BH Electronics, Inc. policies.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time during trade shows; stoop, kneel and use a ladder to assemble tradeshow booth.
- Ability to operate MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to travel by car and airplane to make sales presentations.
- Customer/client focus.
- Communication proficiency, oral and written.
- Ability to organize, plan, interpret date, make decisions and problem solve.
- Ability to handle workplace stress (deadline pressures, working with public, etc.).
- Ability to work safely at all times.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Two or more years of technical field sales experience.
