Insurance Sales Representative (Outbound Sales)
Location: Burnsville, MN
Type: Full-Time (Commission + Base)
About the RoleWe’re seeking a driven, customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to help grow our agency. This position is built around consistent outbound sales outreach and repeatable daily activity—calling, qualifying, presenting options, and scheduling next steps—to convert leads into new customers.

Key Responsibilities- Make outbound sales calls daily to prospects and leads using provided call lists/CRM
- Follow a repeatable sales workflow
: call → qualify → needs assessment → present coverage options → handle objections → close or schedule follow-up - Set and confirm appointments for policy reviews, phone consultations, or in-person meetings
- Document every interaction in our CRM (disposition, notes, next steps, and outcomes)
- Conduct follow-up outreach on leads, quotes, and appointments according to a defined cadence
- Review and update quotes/policies as needed and coordinate with underwriting/support teams
- Maintain and hit activity and conversion metrics (call volume, appointments, written business, etc.)
- Reach out to prospects consistently through outbound calling
- Learn and clearly explain products, pricing, and coverage benefits
- Provide accurate information and ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
- Build trust with prospects by listening, identifying needs, and offering solutions
- Collaborate with internal support to improve conversion and streamline the sales cycle
- Strong phone communication
- Ability to stay organized and execute repeatable daily tasks
- Comfortable working toward measurable goals and reporting activity in a CRM
- Valid insurance license or ability to obtain one within 30 days
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management
- Experience selling through structured processes and scripts
- Confidence in cold calling or lead-based calling
- Customer service mindset and persistence
- Training and sales enablement focused on a repeatable, proven outbound process
- Support from licensed team members and internal operations

- Commission/bonus: $24,000 - $94,000
- Target earnings: $75,000 - $144,000
