Job Description:

This is a full-time Union position. In accordance with dealer and factory quality standard, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems, that include the following:

Engine Transmissionelectrical steeringsuspensionbrakesair conditioning

Enjoy working in the comforts of a climate-controlled shop Primary duties will consist of but not limited to:

Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy

Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform necessary repairs

Responsible for participating and keeping up with manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events

Understands, keeps updated on and complies with Federal, State and Local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.

Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner and wears appropriate safety equipment

Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean

Keeps shop areas neat and clean.

Education and/or

Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience with working on all types of vehicles

Qualifications and Requirements:

Current, valid Driver's License with driving record that meets insurance company standards

Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Detail-oriented and a strong work ethic

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
