- Install and Service Doors:
Install, repair, and service hollow metal and storefront doors, locks, and hardware with precision and efficiency. - Diagnose and Resolve Issues:
Quickly and effectively diagnose issues with commercial doors, locks, and hardware, resolving them efficiently to minimize downtime. - Conduct Preventative Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance on commercial door systems to ensure proper function and extend their lifespan. - Troubleshoot and Repair:
Address and repair issues with door mechanisms, springs, and related hardware, ensuring all repairs are done to company standards. - Stay Informed on Industry Advancements:
Keep up to date on new products, techniques, and industry advancements to offer the most effective solutions to clients. - Provide High-Quality Customer Service:
Maintain professional communication with clients, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring satisfaction with repairs and installations. - Ensure Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety standards and protocols while working on commercial doors to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others. - Read and Interpret Technical Drawings:
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to properly install and repair doors and hardware. - Maintain Tools and Equipment:
Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained, cleaned, and in proper working order to efficiently perform installations and repairs. - Manage Work Orders:
Complete service orders and paperwork accurately and timely, documenting work performed, parts used, and time spent. - Collaborate with Team Members:
Work closely with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient and timely completion of commercial door projects. - Ensure Quality Control:
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards, providing clients with a high-quality finished product.
EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma, or GED
- Mechanical Knowledge: 1 Year (Required)
- Commercial Install and Repair
Experience:
3-5 years (Required)
- Up to $100K a year
- Starting at $25 with potential to increase up to $40 after 90 Day probationary period
- Sign-On Bonus up to $5,000 for experienced technicians
- $150 boot credit to keep you geared up
- 80 hours PTO per year + 48 hours of sick time
