Electrical Technician
As an Electrical Technician, you work from blueprints and schematics to cut, strip, and assemble wiring for electrical panels used in HVAC rental equipment. You ensure panels are wired accurately to match design specifications and, at times, install completed panels into HVAC units ranging from 3.5 to 80 tons in a clean, organized, climate-controlled facility.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to determine wiring requirements and layout.
- Cut and strip wire to specified lengths, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Wire electrical panels to match blueprints and schematic diagrams, maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Build and assemble electrical panels used in HVAC rental units ranging from 3.5 to 80 tons.
- Use hand tools and wiring tools to perform installation, assembly, and adjustment of panel components.
- Install completed electrical panels into HVAC units when required.
- Perform basic electrical checks to verify proper connections and functionality of assembled panels.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow facility procedures for safety and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and support continuous improvement in panel building processes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wire diagrams, and blueprints.
- Basic electrical experience, including working with schematics and wiring diagrams.
- At least 1 year of experience using hand tools and wiring tools in an installation or assembly environment (preferred).
- Proficiency in electrical panel building, including wiring, assembly, and installation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with installation and assembly work using standard electrical hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when cutting, stripping, and routing wire.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a structured production environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on electrical panels for HVAC or similar industrial equipment.
- Comfort working with HVAC units ranging from 3.5 to 80 tons.
- Familiarity with organized, process-driven manufacturing or assembly environments.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques and tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
