Afternoon DSP

? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at LSS
, you’ll support people with identified needs as they pursue their hopes, dreams, and goals through person‑centered care
.

• $18.00/hr
• After six months of consistent employment, opportunity to increase to $18.50/hr

• 3pm-11pm

• Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene, meals, household support/cleaning, and transportation
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills
• Advocate for individuals’ rights, needs, and preferences
• Monitor health and well‑being and report changes as needed
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and team meetings

• Residential group home setting supporting up to 4 people with identified needs

• Genuine passion for supporting people with identified needs through person‑centered care
• No prior experience or formal education required; training and support provided
• Comfort with basic computer use to document care and stay connected with the team
• Ability to read and write in English for clear communication and quality support
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record, with ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check to aid community involvement
• Ability to pass a DHS background check to ensure a safe and trusted environment
