Position Overview

CDL Transit Bus Driver – Burnsville, MN. Pay: $26.80–$28.80 per hour (Fixed Route CDL). Fixed Route CDL Split Shift. Requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – paid training provided. Driver works full time on a fixed route, ensuring safe, reliable transportation for passengers.

• Execute daily routes and schedules with strict adherence to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with boarding, seating, and disembarkation.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Enforce company policies, including seat‑belt use, emergency response procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum three years of driving experience, personal or professional.
• Valid CDL or willingness to obtain one through paid training.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Availability for day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
• Eligible for DOT drug testing and medical physical (if applicable).

Work involves long periods of sitting, driving, and occasional manual handling. Duty includes indoor and outdoor environments; employees may be required to adapt to flexible work schedules.
